YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY HELL WEEK IS OVER!!! Though I think the next one is coming soon! Thursday dance, Friday Cycledelics recce and I got to be prepared. Saturday is Valentine's Day (a break!) Sunday is break! Monday n Tuesday prepare for Wednesday 2202 Test which i haven study. On top of which I have to webcast two 2103 lectures and also read up on my statistics!! GOSH, so much thing to doooooooooooooooooooooo.
TH is Floorball Champions for 08/09!!!! YAY!!!!! My first and maybe last medal of my life. The matches were really intense and just looking at them play takes up so much brain juice! GO TH!! TO BE IHG CHAMPIONS!!!! It will be a close fight.
EMCC was a BLAST! I'm missing it already. I just love performance days! SO exciting, SO nervous, SO adrenaline pumping, SO fun! MAKEUP, PHOTOS, DANCE! WHEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Photos will be on facebook, waiting for people to tag me because i got no camera!
Next up, Dance Productions on 21st March. Will be choreo-ing one item and dancing in three! So all stay tune yeah!!

Ikea
Today's lunch was expensive! Since we had two hours break, we the four students decided to go Ikea for our lunch. Took a cab down. Ordered our lunch before walking around at queensway for a while. Bought a honey milk tea which was super super super sweet and milky and it cost $1.80. BLAHHHH. Sweet Talk where are you?? Took a cab back to school for our last lecture of the day. Unbelievably, for today's both lectures, I had periods of sleeping and zoning out. Other days, with the same amount of sleep, I could manage to pay attention during class. Wonder what's wrong with me today.

MJ. MJ. PICNIC.HELL.
Met Ben, Tuck & Zee on thursday (初四) for a MJ session. It's a socializing session for us four guys! lol. Finally a break from the study woes of school. Ate at Billy Bombers for our 团圆饭 and it was kind of costly for the type of food we had!! We ate the Citibank Set Lunch which cost about $30 in the end.

My set meal! Ribs and chicken leg. The sauce was kind of overly much and it gets to you after a few bites of meat. The potato salad was so so.
After our lunch, we went to Zee's house for MJ! He was seriously in luck because he kept winning! And Tuck was sucking our money every round with his KONG and GAR. He never fails to do either one. >.<
Friday was another MJ day. Kai was saying Alah Pijay won't be in hall so we can play MJ with the door open. So after their cheer, we were playing in Kai's room. It was a good day for me, played big games and managed to win them. Got the winning feeling and it was very good! Lol! But after a few games, guess who walked past. Alah Pijay. >.< Wow. Luckily, he wrote Kai's name and we continued playing after a while with the door closed. At the end managed, to win $11.50! Shiok. First time winning. =D
Had to wake up early the next day for Odac's Picnic at Marina Barrage. Woke up, had breakfast and left hall. Thought I would reach there on time but it was only 930am when i reached Marina Bay MRT. And guess what, Rina told me that everybody will be late as usual. So, I had to just stone there and listen to my MP3 and choreo dance. Sometimes its good to be alone, BUT I WAS SO TIRED from lack of sleep that I decided to take a snooze and wait for Rina to come.
Didn't realize that the barrage is actually built such that it is like a tourist attraction. Quite a nice place to go. Especially at night I think. To view the night sky of Singapore. Will try that one day. The museum is very cool, showing all the technology of the barrage plus how Singapore manage to get her own source of water. Water is definitely important for us. Enough said. The weather was really sunny and I got a burnt from staying in the sun during our picnic. The rest of the people came like at 1pm for a 10am picnic. >.< Played the nostalgic game, UNO. It was freaking funny when during one game Johnson suddenly threw all his cards, saying....

Then we all stunned. And started laughing. IT's REALLY DAMN RANDOM. I never had this much laughter for some time. The picnic was really happy! =D

The flags were up there since 2003 and after every year or every OLC, they will shift one flag to the left. And finally, our batch's flags will be up there for the last year. Oh man. It shows how long we have left VJ and how old we have become. =S
Anyway, I will be having hell for the next few weeks. My schedule is very very packed with intensive physical activities. I wonder how I will be able to survive.

Mahjong Blues
GOSH!!!
Mahjong is everything about luck and seating arrangement. I can't believe my own luck!! Nan Feng. Guess what? I was sitting in front of some undergarments, socks and towels. And throughout the whole night, when I was playing, I couldn't game big. Guess i only won 2 or 3 times. And all of them were small. Many a times, when I was already waiting to game big, someone will just game!! And they will game small. GOSHHHH. Moreover, I made many mistakes such as throwing the wrong tile which prevented me from gaming, not taking tile after taking a flower. And these errors were done when I could game big. @R%#$^$#&$%&$#*%^
The most most most irritating thing was...
I decided to play small and any how play with one flower since I was the "zhuang". So, I did anyhow play but through out the game, I took more and more flower until I had 4 tai. BY THEN I WAS ONLY WAITING FOR MY EYE which was a "dong" and nobody will throw. When it was about the last few tiles, I decided to change to "bei" and discard my "dong". Then I drew the second last tile and I got a flower. o_O AND WHEN I TOOK THE TILE FOR THE FLOWER, GUESS WHAT TILE I DREW. I couldn't believe my luck!!!!! GOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I DREW A "DONG". Which equates to "hua shang" and "hai di lao yue". In all, I could have won 5 tai plus self draw = $9.60. :(
And after 1 round, I lost $5.60 in total due to this unbelievable luck.
So, in future, do not sit in front of undergarments, socks and towels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LUCK IS EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING IS ABOUT LUCK.

After Eons...
Finally going to type something after a long long long long absence of not typing anything. Was just too preoccupied in studying for exams and slacking during the holidays. Though the semester has already started, why am i here blogging? I'm just taking a break from studying, though i just started like 15mins ago. This semester is definitely the most killer semester I ever had. 5 day week. Monday 10-12 2-4, Tuesday 12-6, Wednesday 9-12 2-4, Thursday 12-6, Friday 12-2 4-6. Its really non stop action every week. Well, the advantage of this is that, at the end of the whole semester, I will only be having 3 PAPERS instead of the usual 5 which I had been having. Taking Understanding the Universe and one experimental module, both of which are non examinable. Good in the sense that I have no exams to worry at the end of the whole semester, bad because I have to put in the effort week in week out.
Guess what! I kind of like Understanding the Universe. I have learn what is a solar and sidereal day, a tropical and sidereal year, sidereal and synodic month, how the calendar is the way it is, how the days have gotten their names, stars and their constellations. On top of which, we learnt about eclipses and the most cool thing is that THIS COMING MONDAY (CNY DAY 1), THERE WILL BE A PARTIAL ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE!!! AND YES!!! YOU CAN VIEW IT IN SINGAPORE!!!! wowwwwww. I guess not many people will bother to notice it as they will be all busy visiting.
CNY again, ever since my grandma passed away, my CNY sort of changed. Moreover, as you grow older and the elderly passes on, there seems to be lesser places for you to visit. Kind of getting boring for me. Sigh. But i don't mind visiting my friends or even have a gathering or sorts. I think my house will be open as usual. But doubt many people will read this post though.
This semester isn't a good one. Many things have happened and I'm kind of sad that it happened till what it is now. I do not know how to express myself but I think only a few people know about it. Can't imagine that human relationships are so fragile. Guess they really mean it when they say that relationships are up to the people to maintain it and make it good. But I seriously don't know how did things happen till the way they are now. If i could, I would never ever want this thing to happen. But i guess, it's now too late. It's hard to recover lost things. :(
On a lighter note, I have been practising for Blast's Exon Mobile Campus Concert, and I'm kind of glad I am back in Elson's item. Fast. Strong. Sharp. Energy packed. Stamina draining. Kind of dread and glad I'm in the item. I think it really improves my dancing! Will be choreoing an item and dancing in 3 items in all for TH Dance Productions. SO BUY TICKETS FROM ME AND SUPPORT ME!!! :) Really stressed out about it because I don't know how my item will turn out but lucky I'm collaborating with Huiyi. It should turn out good i hope.
Other than dancing, I have been studying and catching up with my work for these past days. Yes, I know it's only the second week of the semester, but I want to be up to date with the current lectures and start understanding them when I attend them. It's been good up till now. Though, I'm quite tired by sleeping late everyday, but I will ENDURE!! I really need motivation and pushing. BUT ALL THESE IS FOR MY CAP!! I really want to understand my modules and get ready to go Toronto. Many people have been telling me to go for it and it is really a good chance to expose myself to a new environment (which i clearly need). My parents were telling me not to go because it will be very cold. Haha. But i guess they will be supportive of me. So I should just go and put away unhappy stuff! Yay!

Rain
It's 5am!! And it is raining very very very heavily. It was to the extent that even my almost close windows were allowing rain to enter my room. o_O Going to finish my ecology term paper soon! 50 more words or so and conclude! Gosh. I am filled with lots of deadlines. Ecology term paper on Monday, Metabolism test on Tuesday, Planet Earth practical on Wednesday, Evolution Presentation on Wednesday.
WTH!!! IT'S THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL FOR GOODNESS SAKE! AND I'M NOT EVEN STARTING TO PREPARE FOR EXAMS DUE TO THESE ASSIGNMENTS. ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Seriously, I am going to be so dead. With the limited time and continuous paper for 4 days, I will not be able to finish studying and memorising everything. Wat a screwed up semester.
The time spent for supper, practices, lazing around talking. :)

Happy but Sian
It's finally going to be Family hour. The time spent coming up with choreo, teaching the juniors, watching them improve is finally going to end. Me, myself will be doing the senior's item and i really hope to put up a good performance. But it's hard, because dancing together is not only dependent on one person. Everybody got to put in the effort to work hard and put up a good show. I'm beginning to feel that i want to dance with committed people who want to really dance. Well, this is hall. The juniors really improved a lot. People who couldn't really dance initially have finally gotten the feel for hip hop. The learning curve for them is kind of steep. To learn and remember steps, positions and also to put in the expression is never easy. It's all part and parcel of being a dancer. Well, despite the many good points, there are still people who are unsure of their steps and i'm really afraid they will bring the show down. I just got to hope that somehow they manage to do well on tuesday. Another thing is i feel that the effect or feeling of my choreography can be expressed better, but the juniors are still not able to do so. Probably got to settle for the best that they have showed so far. Maybe a little pushing and pressure will help? Who knows.
Exams are coming and I am still busy finishing my assignments, term paper, practical and studying for my last test. I don't even have the time to prepare my other modules and I feel so screwed. 1 week study break is definitely not enough. Papers will be on 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th nov, 2nd dec. GOOD LUCK!
